Here,
The value of y is not given, so y can be positive or y can be negative. As both values of y will satisfy the equation $$x > |y| > z$$

So if y is positive then QTY A > QTY B

If y is negative then QTY A < QTY B

Hence option D

I guess there needs to be one correction.
If y is negative then QTY A<= QTY B.

For example:
x=10
y=-4
z=2
10+(-4)......|-4|+2....both equals to 6
Here qty A =qty B Manager Joined: 22 Feb 2018

Answer: D
x < |y| < z
If y>0 :
x < y < z
Then we will have:
A: x+y
‌B: |y|+z = y+z
Because z is bigger than x, A is bigger than B.

If y<0:
The things that we are sure about are these:
y< z
x<z
Then we will have:
A: x+y
‌B: |y|+z
x<z and y<|y| So B is bigger.

So the answer is D.
