x=1 -> QA>QB.
x=4 -> QA=27*9=243<QB=256

-> D

GIVEN: x is an integer > 1

So, let's test some values of x

case i: x = 2
We get:
QUANTITY A: $$3^{x+1}=3^{2+1}=3^{3}=27$$
QUANTITY B: $$4^x=4^2=16$$
In this case, Quantity A is greater

case ii: x = 3
We get:
QUANTITY A: $$3^{x+1}=3^{3+1}=3^{4}=81$$
QUANTITY B: $$4^x=4^3=64$$
In this case, Quantity A is STILL greater

Let's try another value of x...

case iii: x = 4
We get:
QUANTITY A: $$3^{x+1}=3^{4+1}=3^{5}=243$$
QUANTITY B: $$4^x=4^4=256$$
In this case, Quantity B is greater

Cheers,
Brent
