Angle x is an INSCRIBED angle "holding" arc AB
Angle y is an CENTRAL angle "holding" arc AB

A certain circle property (see video below) states that, if a CENTRAL angle and INSCRIBED angle hold the same arc, then the CENTRAL angle is TWICE the measurement of the INSCRIBED angle.
