We can solve this question using matching operations

Given:
Quantity A: x + 32y
Quantity B: 32x + y

Subtract x from both quantities to get:
Quantity A: 32y
Quantity B: 31x + y

Subtract y from both quantities to get:
Quantity A: 31y
Quantity B: 31x

Divide both quantities by 31 to get:
Quantity A: y
Quantity B: x

Since we have no information about x and y, there's no way to determine which value is greater.

Answer: D

Just input numbers here.
If both x and y = 1 then the both sides are equal so, in this case ans is C.
But if x = 1 and y = 2 then the Left side is 65 and the right side is 34, in this case ans is A.
So the correct ans is D

We can subtract either x or y from both sides.
Let's subtract y from both sides.

Quantity A - x + 31y
Quantity B - 32x

Now, put values, if x = y = 1
Quantity A = Quantity B

if x = 1, y = 2
Quantity A > Quantity B

We can see that the quantities are dependent on the values of x and y and without those values we cannot determine which quantity is bigger.

Hence, D
