$$x^2 - 3x + 2 = 0$$

or $$x^2 - 2x - x + 2 = 0$$

or $$(x - 1)(x - 2) = 0$$

So the roots are = 1 and 2

Now QTY A= Twice the sum of the roots of the equation = $$2 * (1 + 2) = 6$$

Hence QTY A =QTY B
