We can solve this question by testing values

case i x = 2. Plug x = 2 into expressions to get:
Quantity A: $$2^x=2^2=4$$
Quantity B: $$x^2=2^2=4$$
In this case, the two quantities are equal

case ii x = 3. Plug x = 3 into expressions to get:
Quantity A: $$2^x=2^3=8$$
Quantity B: $$x^2=3^2=9$$
In this case, quantity B is greater

If x= 2, then 2^2 < 3^2
If x=4 , then 2^4 = 4^2

So, ans is D
