To having a negative product, you have to have one negative number and one positive AND at the same time between -1 and zero

There is no shortcut here to solve. You must go through the process of calculation.

$$-10 * \frac{1}{16}$$ falls between.

B and C are the choices

Sorry, but i didnt understand this

Option C is 2^-4 = 1/2^4 = 1/16. (To remove the negative sign, we take reciprocal)
When -10 is multiplied with 1/16, we get -0.62. which falls between the given range.
Thus, option B and C are the answers.
