y = −|−x| ..
This means y is ALWAYS negative, irrespective of value of x....
So eliminate all choices that are above x-axis.
second the values will be symmetrical about y-axis..
substitute x as 1 and -1, in both cases y=-1..
for x as 2 or -2, y will be -2
C is the answer
