\(\frac{1}{4}=0.25\)
\(0.01\) percent = \(\frac{0.01}{100} = 0.0001\)
Hence we are asked to find \(0.25 * 0.0001\)
\(25 *1 = 25\) now to add the number of zeros after decimal and before 25 count the number of zeros in the two numbers that were multiplied.
i.e \(2\)for \(0.25\)and \(4\) for \(0.0001\) so altogether \(6\)
two places has already been filled by 25 hence we need four zeros after decimal
\(0.000025\)
option A

10% = 0.1
1% = 0.01
0.1% = 0.001
0.01% = 0.0001

So, 1/4 of 0.01% = 1/4 of 0.0001
= (0.25)(0.0001)
= 0.000025

Answer: A

Cheers,

A different approach.

Notice that 1/4 of 0.01% = 0.01% of 1/4 = 0.01% of 0.25

Now look for a pattern....

100% of 0.25 = 0.25
10% of 0.25 = 0.025
1% of 0.25 = 0.0025
0.1% of 0.25 = 0.00025
0.01% of 0.25 = 0.000025

Answer: A

Cheers,
Brent
