Which of the following describes the possible range of values of y?

A. $$9 < y < 11$$

B. $$5 < y < 11$$

C. $$9 < y < 15$$

D. $$5 < y < 15$$

E. $$10 < y < 20$$

Note: sum of the 2 sides of a triangle is greater than the value of 3rd side.

so,

y-4 +5 > 11

y > 10

and

y-4 < 11+5

y< 20.

Combining the inequality:

10<y<20.
