0.0001 = 1/10,000

So, we can rewrite the question as: Which is equal to 1/10,000?

A. 1/10,000 YES!

B. (0.1)^3 = (1/10)^3 = (1/10)(1/10)(1/10) = 1/1,000 NO!

C. (0.1)^4 = (1/10)^4 = (1/10)(1/10)(1/10)(1/10) = 1/10,000 YES!

D. 1/1000 NO!

E. 10^(-4) = 1/(10^4) = 1/(10)(10)(10)(10) = 1/10,000 YES!

Answer: A, C, E

Cheers,
Brent
