If a price is reduced by 20%, then we will pay 80% of the ORIGINAL price.
Let x = the ORIGINAL price

We can write: 80% of x = $100
In other words: 0.8x = 100
Solve: x = 100/0.8 = 125

Answer: C

Cheers,
Brent
