From the Population per television line; it is corresponds to 25 in the year 1945

from the No. of television graph it corresponds to 30 in the year 1945

Therefore total no. of population in the year 1945 = 30 * 25 = 750

The "number of televisions" graph shows there were about 30 TVs in town X.

The "population per television" line shows there were 1 TV for every 25 residents in town X. This is a ratio of 1:25.

All you have to do now is multiply 25 by 30:

25 * 30 = 750

Remember to be careful when extracting information from graphs with more than one line!!!!!!

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I should have double-checked. I meant 30 and not 35. I corrected the mistake on the original post.
