Instead of solving the equation, Just put the values and check.

Answer is C (Zero)

The question asks how to get the expression greater than zero. Thus, 1/4 to the power of 0 becomes 1 and 1-1 = 0 that is not greater than zero.

The answer is D. Because 1/4 to the power of 1 is still 1/4 and 1-1/4 is 3/4 that is larger than zero.
