(a) What are the prime divisors of 100?

(b) What are the prime divisors of 144?

[Reveal] Spoiler: OA
(a) \(100 = (2)^2(5)^2\) so the prime divisors are 2 and 5. (b) \(144 = (2)^4 (3)^2\) so the prime divisors are 2 and 3.

(a) \(100 = (2)(2)(5)(5)\). So the PRIME divisors are 2 and 5.

(b) \(144 = (2)(2)(2)(2)(3)(3)\). So the PRIME divisors are 2 and 3.

Cheers,
