Solution

If we do have that: \(x = 10\) and \(y = -11\) ; \(10-11= -1\) \(but\) \(x > y\)

But if we do have that \(-2 + 1 = -1\); then \(x < y\)

The answer is \(D\)

Fact: x+y=-1
when x=4 y=-5; x+y=-1==> x>y
when x=-5 y=4; x+y=-1==> x<y

relationship varies- ANS is D
