Bravado fits the bill.

because the exhibition is just a showing of something.

Bravado is an ostentation of a behavior.

You do need a much more strong word here.

Ostentation is something related toa thing when I put to the attention of the others.

For instance: I wall on the street and whoever came across with me I show my Rolex watch. Hey, look at it, it is a submariner do you know how much it cost ?? billions of dollars and blah blah blah

Aside from the fact: who cares: Second, I do not have so much money to buy a Rolex if any :-D

here instead, we do have that their courage indeed is a staging. It is a recital, it is not true. It is only appearance.
