Get to the gist of the sentence.
The writer usually does not include all the material so she is thought of as 'something'. However she does tend to include some material that many may think she does not include in her work.
Tackle second blank first. Scanning through the ans choices 'censoring' seems a good fit because censor is one who cuts of objectionable material before production. Hence D
For the first blank the required word should Explain what does she occassionally put in her work that decreases her reputation as censor. If you permit objectionable material you do not censor hence among ans choices only 'denunciation' makes sense
