The vegetation at Stone Mountain which was best known of the large rock masses known as monadnocks, is far from being clean and flawless. It is now been decimated by the hiking traffic. Therefore, pristine and undisturbed are the perfect match.

The sentence says that the vegetation at stone mountain is far from ________ as it has been decimated by hiking traffic.

Therefore, the only 3 words that fit in this context are:
C. picturesque

D. pristine

E. undisturbed

Out of these 3 only pristine and undisturbed have the same meaning. Therefore, the answer is D and E

The vegetation at Stone Mountain, the best known of the large rock masses known as monadnocks, is far from ______, having been decimated by the hiking traffic.

Since it has been decimated by hiking traffic, it is far from being in its original untouched state. Hence Choices D and E, pristine and undisturbed are the correct answers.

The word decimated means destroy in large proportions, to reduce something severely.
