Explanation

The two corporate sectors that increased their support for the arts from 1988 to 1991 are financial insurance, real estate and services.

In 1991 they accounted for 26 and 22 percent of total spending respectively.

Total percentage spending by these two sectors = 22 + 26 = 48%

Total spending in 1991 = $ 520 Million.

Total dollar spending by financial insurance, real estate and services = 48% of $ 520 Million = \(\frac{48}{100} \times 520\) = $249.6 Million.

Hence option D is correct.
