The scientists pointed out the what we now call global warming is indeed a longgg process over the centuries and this process hardly is a transformation described as "warming". Actually, this long process is something more complicated and much more on a large scale, that "warming" is a euphemism.

Answer: B, F, G

Could you explain why the answer is G for (iii)?


Two things give away that the last word is transformation. First "setting in motion" and then "shifts in climate pattern". These two statements heavily imply global warming will lead to an extreme transformation of life on Earth due to glabal warming.
