Here the leader, of course, is a leader and he is in charge. His subordinates are actually YES people. People that do not think, just they do not wanna contradict the leader.

here if we assume the answer is F, then we need a synonym word and this should be C. The only word that matches in the same meaning. The others are out of scope.

Now is the weird thing

sycophantic = behaving or done in an obsequious way in order to gain an advantage.

disquieted = make (someone) worried or anxious.

Moreover, later in the sentence we already have anxious

What is the source of the question ?? it is a really bad question to practice. To be honest.
