Question Stats:

Quantity A
Quantity B
The number of 3-digit integers all of whose digits are even
The number of 3-digit integers all of whose digits are odd

A. Quantity A is greater.
B. Quantity B is greater.
C. The two quantities are equal.
D. The relationship cannot be determined from the information given.

The answer is B. I do not know why is that because I thought the 3 digit could be as example 426 and 317, so I can also assume it is going to be 244 and 739
so my answer is D but I got it wrong. Could any one explain that to me ?

Hi, and welcome to the board.
First of all, please, post the question under the right section a question.

here the rules to follow. Thank you

https://greprepclub.com/forum/rules-for ... -1083.html
https://greprepclub.com/forum/qq-how-to ... -2357.html

back to your question. It says only 3 digit integers and that's it. You cannot assume they are consecutive or not or anything else.

It is not a clear question. The answer is D but for different reasoning.

If we have A the minimum possible configuration for 3 even numbers, then we do have 200 and for B 111 so the answer is A.

If we do have for A 222 and for B 373 the answer is B.

So is impossible to have B as the right answer.

Regards
