despondency, elation, and euphoric

The third blank has the clearest clue, so start there: The trigger although indicates that you need a word to contrast disappointed, so you need something like happy. Of the choices, only euphoric means happy.

The third blank also provides part of the clue for the first two blanks: They’ll describe a strange mix of emotions, and they’ll be parallel to disappointed and euphoric. Of the choices for the first blank, only despondency matches disappointed; of the choices for the second blank, only elation matches euphoric.

Hence opyion A, E and H is correct!
