We know that the average length of earthworms is closer to the average length of sample A than sample B, so the number of earthworms in sample A must be greater.

We know nothing about the median of the earthworms.

We know nothing about the range of the length of earthworms, as we know nothing about the minimum or maximum lengths of the earthworms.

The answer is A.
