distance = (speed)(time)

Bob drives 3 hours at an average speed of 44 miles per hour
distance = (speed)(time)
= (44)(3)
= 132 miles

Inez drives 2 hours and 30 minutes at an average speed of 50 miles per hour
distance = (speed)(time)
= (50)(2.5)
= 125 miles

We get:
Quantity A: 132 miles
Quantity B: 125 miles
