Kudos for the right answer and explanation

QUANTITY A: Average $$=\frac{(x+5) + (2x+3) + (1-3x)}{3}=\frac{9}{3}=3$$

QUANTITY B: Average $$=\frac{5+2+8+6+4}{5}=\frac{25}{5}=5$$
