Explanation

Now redrawing the figure given in question as:

Image

Now area A is intersection of two circles and area B is same as area C.

So the shaded area can be thought of as Area of a complete circle - area of intersection of two circles.

Thus Shaded area = 40 - 15 = 25.

Clearly Quantity B is greater.
