I excluded the day of death from the age for both A and B ..hence I got the answer as C.

why age not the same.

Only seeing year, both have lived 84 years but if we see day A has lived 16 days less than B. (15-31) for A & (31-15) for B.
If it is obscured, then please notify me.

Option B is the correct answer because option B guy has surpassed his date of birth while A has not.

We can simplify it, considering just a 1 year. Replace January 31 by February 1. B lived longer for 16 days. A lived less than 1 year, while B lived more than 1 year
