Q1: there is a typo in the question since it uses y twice

Q2: in 1983, there were 95*0.8 = 76 million TV and those watching program y where 0.13*76 = 9.88, rounded to 10. Answer E

Q3: the percent variation between program x and y in 1983 is computed as \frac{0.155*20-0.13*20}{0.13*20}*100 = 19.23%

Ok, then Q1 is solved by just counting the number of increasing segments between two consecutive years: 1980-81, 1981-82, 1982-83, 1983-84. Then the answer is 4, i.e. choice C
