Explanation

Tough question.

The television promotes a discontinuity of emotions because it recalls unnatural evocation. I.E the television interrupts the natural flow of emotions or thoughts of people. As for the second blank the key word is : feelings. Incompatible means unable to exist together in harmony; or in this case, more refined, the second blank means discordant .

Especially the second blank to pick right you must consider a negative effect that television provide to the consumers. E and F are positive instead in their meaning.
