Explanation

Given,
area of the square is $$36$$
area of square = side * side so $$s^2 = 36; s = 6$$

Given triangle $$NOP$$ is a equilateral triangle with sides $$6$$ each.[all the angles are x degrees]
TO find the perimeter of the given figure we add length of all the sides.
Each side is $$6$$. Realize that $$NP$$ is not a outer of this figure so it should be omitted
hence perimeter$$= 6 * 5 = 30$$
