Explanation

Given,
area of the square is \(36\)
area of square = side * side so \(s^2 = 36; s = 6\)

Given triangle \(NOP\) is a equilateral triangle with sides \(6\) each.[all the angles are x degrees]
TO find the perimeter of the given figure we add length of all the sides.
Each side is \(6\). Realize that \(NP\) is not a outer of this figure so it should be omitted
hence perimeter\(= 6 * 5 = 30\)
