Researchers studying .sets of identical twins who were raised apart in dissimilar environments found that in each case the twins were similar in character, medical history, and life experiences. The researchers saw these results as confirmation of the hypothesis that heredity is more important than environment in determining human personalities and life histories.

The existence of which of the following would tend to weaken the support for the hypothesis above most seriously?

(A) A set of identical twins raised together who are shown by appropriate tests to have very similar value systems
(B) A pair of identical twins raised apart who differ markedly with respect to aggressiveness and other personality traits
(C) A younger brother and older sister raised together who have similar personalities and life experiences
(D) A mother and daughter who have the same profession even though they have very different temperaments
(E) A pair of twins raised together who have similar personality traits but different value systems
[Reveal] Spoiler: OA

Please explain Right answer is 'B'. Why can't 'A' be the answer? What I think is that we need to find the choice that shows environment is an instrumental factor in determining personality traits. I can't seem to differentiate between 'A' & 'B'

(A) A set of identical twins raised together who are shown by appropriate tests to have very similar value systems

This answer choice basically says that appropriate test (we do not know anything about them if they are biased or not) show us they have SIMILAR value systems.
Which of course the value systems nothing say about human personalities and life histories.

B instead

(B) A pair of identical twins raised apart who differ markedly with respect to aggressiveness and other personality traits

The aggressiveness and personal traits tell us about human personalities and life histories.

I hope is more clear now.
