when you analyze a quadratic eqn.
see the base of $$x^2$$ part of the eqn in the form $$ax^2$$ + $$bx$$ + $$c$$

For Point P $$x^2$$ has a +ve base while for Point Q $$x^2$$ has a -ve base
Therefore we can conclude that point is curved up i.e U shaped while Point Q is curved down i.e reverse of U shaped
This is all that is required to ans this question.

Since the U shaped part has a minimum y coordinate less than the maximum y coordinate of reverse U shaped graph.
option B should be the ans
