Let's start by APPROXIMATING each value
A. \(\frac{1}{2}\)
B. \(\frac{7}{15}\)
Since 7.5/15 = 1/2, we can conclude that 7/15 is LESS THAN 1/2
C. \(\frac{49}{100}\)
Since 50/100 = 1/2, we can conclude that 49/100 is LESS THAN 1/2
D. \(\frac{126}{250}\)
Since 125/250 = 1/2, we can conclude that 126/250 is GREATER THAN 1/2
E. \(\frac{1,999}{4,000}\)
Since 2,000/4,000 = 1/2, we can conclude that 1,999/4,000 is LESS THAN 1/2
Since 126/250 is the only fraction that's GREATER THAN 1/2, the correct answer is D
