Many claim that the 19th century institution of snake's oil - the peddling of items that seldom live up to their vaunted claims - is anything but moribund; one need only look so far as the Internet to see that the tradition is ______.

    A. thriving
    B. transient
    C. peripheral
    D. diminishing
    E. counterfeit

Answer: A.

Could you help me interpret the sentence? Particularly, I don't under what the phrase "look so far as the Internet to see" means.

Thank you in advance.

If this is a sentence equivalence type of question shouldn't the solution be more than one?
I'll try to give my explanation.
the key to understand the text: "is anything but moribund" so you need something opposite of moibund, like prosperous. A is the best match

Moreover, the answers must be A >>> F.

This question is incomplete. Please, do you mind to fix it ???

Except A all other words are more negative in sense. And as hinted that we need to find something which should be antonym of moribund, it should be a positive word. Hence thriving.
