Solution

Each horizontal bar in the bar graph shows the possible number of milligrams of caffeine in each of the common beverages and drugs. The least possible
amount of caffeine in a 5-ounce cup of drip-brewed coffee is about 60 milligrams, and the greatest possible amount of caffeine in a 5-ounce cup of
cocoa is about 20 milligrams. So, the difference is approximately 60−20, or 40 milligrams. The correct answer is Choice D.
