In the figure above, 0 is the center of the circle. If AB = 10, what is the area of the circle?

so the triangle AOB is equilateral

In the figure above, 0 is the center of the circle. If AB = 10, what is the area of the circle?

(A) \(10\pi\)

(B) \(20\pi\)

(C) \(25\pi\)

(D) \(50\pi\)

(E) \(100\pi\)

The triangle inscribed in the circle having 60 degress as one of its angles becomes an equilateral triangle. SO, each of its sides become 10 unites, implying that the radius becomes 10 units too.
Area of the triangle being Pie*r*r => Pie*10*10 = 100\pi
Hence Option E
