Let x = total animal population,

so 44 = 16% of x

so \(x = \frac{(44 * 100)}{16}= 275\)

i.e. the total animal population = 275

From the chart below . we learn that 16% leopards are in the zoo.

16% of total animal = 44

16/100 pf the total animal = 44

Total animal = 44*100 / 16

Total animal = 275.

The best answer is B.
