Here,

No. of male faculty in the engineering = 12% of 250 = 30

and NO. of female faculty in the engineering = 2% of 200 =4

Therefore total no. of faculty in engineering = 30 + 4 =34

Now total no. of students = 275

SO the ratio between number of engineering students to the number of engineering faculty = 275/34 = which is nearly equal = 8 i.e. 8 : 1
