This can be written as

$$\frac{2a}{b} = \frac{8b}{a}$$

or $$2a^2 =8b^2$$

or $$\frac{b^2}{a^2} = \frac{2}{8} = \frac{1}{4}$$

or $$\frac{b}{a}$$ =$$+\frac{1}{2}$$ or $$-\frac{1}{2}$$ (Taking square root)
