For any questions like this one, it is easiest to group the numbers together.

In other words, instead of doing the summation: 10+9+8+7+...+1

Do the summation: (10+1)+(9+2)+...+(6+5)=11+11+11+11+11=11*5=55

10/2 * 11 * 1 = 55
