If 100,000 microns = 1 decimeter, and 1,000,000,000 angstroms = 1 decimeter, how many angstroms equal 1 micron?
A. 0.00001
B. 0.0001
C. 0.001
D. 10,000
E. 100,000
Kudos for correct solution.
Here we can have
\(10^5\) microns = \(10^9\) angstroms (since\(10^5\) microns = 1 decimeter = \(10^9\) angstoms)
Therefore 1 micron = \(10^4\) angstorn (dividing by\(10^5\) since we are calculating for 1 micron)
