A. 16 : 27

B. 2 : 3

C. 3 : 4

D. 4 : 5

E. 8 : 9

Let w represent white mice and G represent gray mice then,
from question we have:
\(\frac{1}{2}\) W = \(\frac{1}{8}\) T
or, w = \(\frac{2}{8}\) T = \(\frac{1}{4}\) T

\(\frac{1}{3}\) G = \(\frac{1}{9}\) T
or, G = \(\frac{3}{9}\) T = \(\frac{1}{3}\) T

Hence \(\frac{1}{4}\) T divided by \(\frac{1}{3}\) T = \(\frac{3}{4}\)
