There are altogether $$10$$ digits $${0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9}$$ for a single place for any number
For three digit numbers there are altogether $$3$$ places Since we cannot use $${0,2,4,6,8}$$ the three digit number has
to be composed from $${1,3,5,7,9} = 5$$ digits hence total number $$= 5*5*5 =125$$
