In the x-y coordinate system (x,y) are +ve or -ve by there placement in 1 of the 4 quadrants
1st quadrant: x is +ve, y is +ve
2nd quadrant: x is -ve, y is +ve
3rd quadrant: x is -ve, y is -ve
4th quadrant: x is +ve, y is -ve

A is positive because it is on the right, b is negative because it is down. that mean that A>B
