GRE General Questions [#permalink] New post 14 Dec 2017, 13:53
On the day of the GRE test, does the test taker get a laminated note pad similar to the one given on a GMAT? Also, are the Manhattan Prep study guides outdated or are they still good resources to prepare for GRE?

Hi, and welcome to the board.

At the test center, they will provide you with a scratch paper along a pencil to jot down your notes or numbers for tackling a question.

Manhattan GRE is not outdated. Probably is one of the best prep company in providing GRE practice material and mock test.

However, here on the board, we do have a bunch of material to practice as well. Let take a look here for quant https://greprepclub.com/forum/greprepcl ... -3523.html and here for verbal https://greprepclub.com/forum/greprepcl ... -3488.html . Plus tons of other material to help you in your preparation.

Ask for further assistance if you need.

Regards

Thanks for the reply.

How does the GRE scoring algorithm work?

Is the GRE scoring based on the number of questions that a test takers answered correctly or is it similar to the GMAT algorithm, in which the score is based on the test takers' standing toward the end of the test?
