Dear GRE Club members,

I will have my first GRE after two weeks from now (on 24th of Sep). I was preparing for GMAT but then realized that I need GRE. I have a couple of questions.

1. On GMATClub tests I was scoring Q47-49. Is that enough for GRE?
2. Where can I find hardest GRE quant challenges to train?
3. I don't have a very comprehensive vocabulary (I am non-native), but I am applying to MSc in Data Science. How important is my verbal score? I am not that good at remembering words that nobody uses in the real life, and I don't see any difference between saying that "I am motivated to pass GRE" instead of "I am galvanized to pass GRE", especially for a person who should be good in quant, not in verbal

Average score on the gmat: could be not enough for the verbal section of the GRE: notoriously more difficult the that of GMAT.

2. Where can I find hardest GRE quant challenges to train?

Could be not so much important but it depends on the University you apply for.

Hi Nomad,

I’m glad you reached out, and I’m happy to help. Since you just switched to the GRE, your first order of business should be to take an ETS practice exam. Once you take the exam, please report back here, and I can provide some further advice.

Also, you may find it helpful to read this article about how to score a 330+ on your GRE.

Please reach out with any further questions.
