Let H be hamburger and S be Soda

Margie : H + S = 5.6
Paul : 3H + s = 12.60

Sub 1 from 2 => -2H = -7.2 => h = 3.6

Now question says what is total price that Paul spent on Hamburger 3H => 3*3.6 = 10.8

Answer A.
