Q. Three numbers have a range of 2 and a median of 4.4.
Quantity A |
Quantity B |
The greatest of the numbers |
5.4 |
The easiest way is picking numbers for this problem.
1. The median is 4.4, i.e. the middle number is 4.4.
2. Range is 2, i.e. the difference between the largest number and the smallest number is 2.
So possible cases:
3.4, 4.4, 5.4 ................... Here Qty A = Qty B
Again 3.5, 4.4 and 5.5 is also possible Here Qty A > Qty B.
Hence D is the correct option.
